Job Title: Senior Manager (Hong Kong Talent Engage) Business Partnership 
Salary: HK$101,775 per month 
Entry Requirements: Candidates should have –

(a) a Bachelor’s degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent;
(b) a minimum of 15 years’ full-time post-qualifications work experience, including 10 years of work experience in fostering business partnership and 5 years of work experience at managerial level in private and/or public sectors;
(c) met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 or above in English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent;
(Note: Grade C in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.)
(d) excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
(e) excellent understanding of government affairs especially on talent engagement;
(f) proven track record of hands-on collaborative experience in dealing with different parties in the government and business sectors, and providing excellent customer services to stakeholders; and
(g) proficiency in the application of common business software (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Chinese and English word processing. 
Note: Other Job-related Requirements:
The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of LWB. The successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours, perform on-call/standby duties and work overtime, including evenings, weekends and public holidays; and (b) work outdoors occasionally. 
Duties: (a) To spearhead the development of a comprehensive business partnership network and generate innovative ideas and strategies to enhance talent engagement and support initiatives of HKTE;
(b) To independently identify, cultivate and initiate new collaborative ventures and partnerships to enhance HKTE’s focus on attracting, engaging and supporting talents;
(c) To engage with, assess and oversee the service delivery of HKTE’s collaborators and business partners to foster mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships;
(d) To provide effective guidance and supervision to the team of professionals underpinned to optimise team performance and leverage their collective expertise to achieve optimal outcomes;
(e) To collaborate with internal teams within HKTE to leverage synergies to enhance the overall impact and effectiveness of the office’s talent engagement and support strategies and foster a proactive and energetic working environment;
(f) To continually adapt and refine business partnership approaches, apply latest industry insights and emerging trends to create a dynamic and responsive partnership framework that addresses evolving talent engagement and support needs; and
(g) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers. 
Terms of Appointment: The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms. The contract period will commence on the first date of reporting duty and last up to 31 March 2028. Renewal of contract will be subject to the discretion of the Government. 
Fringe Benefits 14 days paid annual leave will be granted to the successful candidate. The eligibility for rest days, statutory holidays (or substitute holidays), maternity / paternity leave and sickness allowance, where appropriate, is in line with those provided for under the Employment Ordinance. A gratuity may be granted at the end of the contract period if the appointee has satisfactorily completed the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary received during the contract period. 
General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.
